Contactless read/write IDIC® designed for acces control and logistics applications in the 100-kHz or 150-kHz frequency band. Especially tested and pre-configured for use as Consumer7 Industrial tag in the wideley used 'Unique Format'. This uses 64 bits of the memory where 40 bits of teh memory are user bits and data. The data rate is RF/64 and Manchester ASK modulation is used. For porprietary applications also the complete memory with 128 bits can be used. A single coil connected to the chip serves as the IC's power supply and bi-directional communication interface. The antenna and chip together form a transponder or tag. The on-chip 128-bit user EEPROM (16 bytes with 8 bits each) can be read and written block-wise from a reader. This device is optimized for maximum read range. Programming is possible, but the write range is limited. The chip has to be locked after loading the application-specific data into the device.
