DESCRIPTION The RTC6694 is an integrated RF front-end module designed for 802.11b/g/n WLAN applications. The device includes a silicon-germanium (SiGe) power amplifier (PA) and low noise amplifier (LNA). The power amplifier is designed to operate in 2.4GHz ISM band, compatible with 802.11b/g wireless LAN system with high power and high gain. The Amplifier consists of 3 gain stages with inter-stage matching, build-in input matching network, and a power detector for close loop power control operation. In 802.11g mode (OFDM 64QAM, 54Mbps), it provides a low EVM (Error-Vector magnitude) of 3% at +19.5dBm linear output power.
The low noise amplifier complies with 802.11b/g applications that provides low noise, high gain, and low current consumption operation within the 2.4~2.5GHz frequency band. Across the frequency band, the LNA provides 14dB gain and 1.26dB noise figure.
The device is packaged in a industry-standard 24-lead surface mount package QFN24 4x4 with Lead-free RoHS compliant.
