DESCRIPTION
The RTC6643H is a RF front-end module (FEM) designed for 802.11b/g/n WLAN applications using Richwave advanced FEDTM technology. This device consists of a power amplifier (PA), a SP3T switch (SW), a band pass filter (BPF), and a balun (BAL). The module is designed to operate in 2.4 GHz ISM band, compatible with 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN system with low loss and large output power. All inputs and outputs are internally matched to 50Ω and the WLAN transmitted terminal is a differential port with impedance of 100Ω. In the transmitting path, the FEM has a typical gain of 24 dB from 2.4GHz to 2.5GHz, and delivers 16 dBm typical output power under 3% EVM OFDM 54Mbps modulation. In the transmitting path, the FEM possesses 29 dBc high out-band suppression at 1.9GHz and thus suitable for mobile handset application. In the receiving and BT paths, the typical insertion loss is 2.6 dB and the out-of-band suppression is 23 dBc at 1.9 GHz. These features make RTC6643H FEM very useful in various applications, such as hand-held device and battery-powered WLAN equipment. The RTC6643H is packaged in a tiny industry-standard 16-lead surface mount package VQFN 4 X 4 mm2 with lead-free RoHS compliant.
